He then completed his residency in anesthesiology, followed by a fellowship in interventional pain management at the University of Kentucky. There, he was trained in performing advanced interventional pain procedures.
Seeking a strong sense of community and culture, Dr. Kennon and his wife, Tara, jumped at the opportunity to move with their four children to the Tri-City region and join the Watauga family. His travels and experience in the military have instilled in him a priority of seeking out personal relationships and serving others. He stays true to this mission by being an active member of his church and community. In his spare time, Dr. Kennon loves making memories with family, smoking barbeque, golfing, and enjoying all things outdoors.
